A Tribute to Memory

I can't help feeling lonely tonight. The moon arises Something's just not right. Somewhere out there A warm hug is waiting. But for now, I'm feeling lonely tonight. I have to close my eyes and let the tears flow. For I'm missing all my heard Like a lost maiden doe And no matter who comes To my comfort and aid On their shoulder, I will just let the tears flow. I am so solitary now, more than before At a time when I was younger I'd smile at the door For I knew there'd always be someone Waiting at home for me These days, though, I'm more lonely than before. Since I have moved on down the road There have been trials growing up, being bold And everything I left I was free to let go But that's all that I can think of Since I've moved down the road.
